المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري

 مؤسسة فكرية اقتصادية مستقلة، تهدف إلى إعلاء صوت القطاع الخاص السوري المؤمن بمبادئ الاقتصاد الحر وقيمه.

المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري SEF هو أول مؤسسة بحثية فكرية اقتصادية سورية مستقلة تهدف إلى إعلاء صوت القطاع الخاص السوري المؤمن بمبادئ الاقتصاد الحر وقيمه.
يعمل المنتدى على تعزيز وتقوية الاقتصاد السوري لدعم الحياة اليدمقراطية والتنمية المستدامة كما أن المنتدى مدرك تماماً للمشاكل الحالية والمسؤوليات التاريخية التي تمر بها البلاد لذلك يقوم بتقديم معلومات موثقوقة وتحاليل اقتصادية ويقترح حلولاً من خلال اوراق السياسات الاقتصادية العامة التي يصدرها دورياً والتي نخدم الاقتصاد السوري ومرحلة إعادة الإعمار في المستقبل.

يهدف المنتدى غلى بناء النموذج الاقتصادي الحر الذي يتعاون فيه صناع القرار غير البيروقراطيين مع رواد الأعمال الشباب الوطنيين ، وفي هذا السياق يعمل المنتدى على تعزيز وتقوية القطاع الخاص السوري في سوريا وخارجها ولضمان العطاء المستدام للأجيال السورية القادمة يطور المنتدى مناهج تدريبية تهدف إلى تنمية روح ريادة الأعمال في شباب سوريا المستقبل وخاصة أنه الممثل الرسمي لسوريا في فعالية الأسبوع العالمي لردياة الأعمال منذ عام 2015 ، وتماشياً مع لغة الاقتصاد الرقمي يقوم المنتدى ببناء وتطوير منصات أعمال إلكترونية متاحة لجميع السوريين لتمكنهم من فهم المصطلحات الإدارية والاقتصادية وترسيخ ثقافة بيئة الأعمال السورية.

السيد. أيمن طباع عضو مؤسس ورئيس مجلس إدارة المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري. السيد طباع هو رجل أعمال مقيم في دمشق، سوريا، حيث يملك شركة تطوير عقاري. حصل السيد طباع على درجة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال في الولايات المتحدة. وقبل امتلاكه شركة تطوير العقارات، تمكن من إدارة العديد من شركات التمويل والتطوير العقاري. وقد أمضى بعض الوقت في الولايات المتحدة ودبي.

السيد تمام بارودي هو عضو مؤسس في مجلس إدارة المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري. غادر السيد تمام بارودي سوريا مع عائلته عام 1964 إلى الرياض بعد أن بدأ حزب البعث الحكم في سوريا ومصادرة ممتلكات والده وشركاته بعد الإصلاح الزراعي والتأميم. درس الهندسة المدنية في جامعة حلب. سافر للعمل في المملكة العربية السعودية حتى عام 1985 عندما عاد إلى سوريا للعمل في البناء والزراعة في مسقط رأسه حماة. وهو متزوج وله ثلاث بنات متزوجات. ويمتلك مصنع لتصنيع الماس لقص الحجر والرخام في مدينة حلب. واليوم، يعمل السيد تمام بارودي بجد لدعم ثورة الكرامة والحرية

Job Description:

 

  • Direct interactions with beneficiaries
  • Engage in outreach activities related to the project
  • Mapping targeted beneficiaries.
  • Archiving and controlling data entry of processes
  • Mile stoning services provided to beneficiaries
  • Field visits to targeted beneficiaries

  • Collect and disseminate up-to-date information on the regulations relating to employment and self-employment applicable to target beneficiaries

  • Complete any additional tasks identified by Supervisor

 

Essential Qualification:

 

  • University degree or advanced training/coursework in sociology, social work, international affairs, humanitarianism, business, economics, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience with a humanitarian aid organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of market dynamics

Essential Experiences:

  • Experience working in the field

Job Description:

 

  • implements daily operational aspects of all issues related to the component focusing on registration processes  and other activities as needed
  • supports the Head of component and other experts in the coordination and implementation of project activities
  • carry out specific research, reporting and M&E tasks
  • Administrate field assistants.
  • carry out specific tasks in connection with knowledge management for the project/programme component

Position Title:    Project Manager

Location:          Gaziantep – Turkey

Start Date:        Immediate

Duration of assignment: 9 Months (extendible)

Reports To: Deputy Executive Director  

 

Overview:

Project Summary:

SEF proposes a two-year project to enhance livelihoods by stimulating private enterprise and employment among refugees and members of host communities in Turkey. Activities will increase the technical capacities of vulnerable populations and contribute to enterprise development and job creation in the food sector. SEF’s project will be implemented in Gaziantep over the course of 24 months. The program will be anchored by the establishment of Food Enterprise Centers (FECs), and will serve as hubs for training and business development support for refugees and host community populations.

Job Summary:

  • Establish entrepreneur incubation centers in Gaziantep in coordination with implementing partners. This will involve a mapping and discovery process to find suitable locales and facilities, overseeing the establishment of coworking spaces with test kitchens and other shared facilities, development of specialized training content, establishing a suite of entrepreneur support services, and facilitating a business plan competition. This will also include planning for the long-term sustainability of the Centers.
  • Implement and ensure completion of programmatic objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
  • Work closely with project Director to manage the project on the ground, including coordinating relationships with local partner organization, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Guide the Project Coordinator and other Managers in their dayto-day work, ensuring that the activities are planed efficiently and implemented in compliance with contract(s) signed with the donor(s);

Finance, Administration and Logistics

  • Closely coordinate with the different support departments, namely Finances, Administration, Human Resources (HR), and Logistics, to ensure the proper allocation of the necessary resources for an efficient and effective implementation of the project(s);
  • In coordination with the executive Management team , supervise and validate the budget plans and budget / logistics / administrative documentation, necessary for the allocation of resources for the implementation of the planned activities;
  • Participate to the elaboration of accurate financial reports, as requested by the Project Director, in collaboration with the Finance Manager.
  • Follow up with Project Coordinator on implementation of programmatic activities, in line with the projects’ work plans and M&E plans (Timelines, Milestones & Targets

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree (preferable Master degree), preferable in Humanities and Social/Political Sciences;
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in management of people, administration, project management, reporting, monitoring and evaluation, general finance knowledge, experience with working and interpretation with data (preferable presentation of the documentary evidence);
  • Experience in the food or hospitality industries preferred (food service, manufacturing, or retail, or related field).
  • Strong project monitoring and management skills, including budget tracking, report writing, and interaction with diverse local partners.
  • Excellent knowledge of the humanitarian and development sectors, and experience with and knowledge of humanitarian standards.
  • Fluent in English and  Turkish or Arabic – written and spoken
  • PMP/PMD-Pro Certified (highly preferable).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, remote management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently,
  • Ability to create new relations with active players in the field.
  • High level of flexibility to adapt to new environment, handle workload, High level of problem-solving and decision-making skills
