المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري

 مؤسسة فكرية اقتصادية مستقلة، تهدف إلى إعلاء صوت القطاع الخاص السوري المؤمن بمبادئ الاقتصاد الحر وقيمه.

المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري SEF هو أول مؤسسة بحثية فكرية اقتصادية سورية مستقلة تهدف إلى إعلاء صوت القطاع الخاص السوري المؤمن بمبادئ الاقتصاد الحر وقيمه.
يعمل المنتدى على تعزيز وتقوية الاقتصاد السوري لدعم الحياة اليدمقراطية والتنمية المستدامة كما أن المنتدى مدرك تماماً للمشاكل الحالية والمسؤوليات التاريخية التي تمر بها البلاد لذلك يقوم بتقديم معلومات موثقوقة وتحاليل اقتصادية ويقترح حلولاً من خلال اوراق السياسات الاقتصادية العامة التي يصدرها دورياً والتي نخدم الاقتصاد السوري ومرحلة إعادة الإعمار في المستقبل.

يهدف المنتدى غلى بناء النموذج الاقتصادي الحر الذي يتعاون فيه صناع القرار غير البيروقراطيين مع رواد الأعمال الشباب الوطنيين ، وفي هذا السياق يعمل المنتدى على تعزيز وتقوية القطاع الخاص السوري في سوريا وخارجها ولضمان العطاء المستدام للأجيال السورية القادمة يطور المنتدى مناهج تدريبية تهدف إلى تنمية روح ريادة الأعمال في شباب سوريا المستقبل وخاصة أنه الممثل الرسمي لسوريا في فعالية الأسبوع العالمي لردياة الأعمال منذ عام 2015 ، وتماشياً مع لغة الاقتصاد الرقمي يقوم المنتدى ببناء وتطوير منصات أعمال إلكترونية متاحة لجميع السوريين لتمكنهم من فهم المصطلحات الإدارية والاقتصادية وترسيخ ثقافة بيئة الأعمال السورية.

السيد. أيمن طباع عضو مؤسس ورئيس مجلس إدارة المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري. السيد طباع هو رجل أعمال مقيم في دمشق، سوريا، حيث يملك شركة تطوير عقاري. حصل السيد طباع على درجة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال في الولايات المتحدة. وقبل امتلاكه شركة تطوير العقارات، تمكن من إدارة العديد من شركات التمويل والتطوير العقاري. وقد أمضى بعض الوقت في الولايات المتحدة ودبي.

تمام البارودي

السيد تمام بارودي هو عضو مؤسس في مجلس إدارة المنتدى الاقتصادي السوري. غادر السيد تمام بارودي سوريا مع عائلته عام 1964 إلى الرياض بعد أن بدأ حزب البعث الحكم في سوريا ومصادرة ممتلكات والده وشركاته بعد الإصلاح الزراعي والتأميم. درس الهندسة المدنية في جامعة حلب. سافر للعمل في المملكة العربية السعودية حتى عام 1985 عندما عاد إلى سوريا للعمل في البناء والزراعة في مسقط رأسه حماة. وهو متزوج وله ثلاث بنات متزوجات. ويمتلك مصنع لتصنيع الماس لقص الحجر والرخام في مدينة حلب. واليوم، يعمل السيد تمام بارودي بجد لدعم ثورة الكرامة والحرية

ريم علاف باحثة وكاتبة سورية تقدم المشورة للزبائن الحكوميين والشركات حول القضايا الجيوسياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية. باعتبارها زميلة مشاركة في معهد شاثام هاوس البريطاني (لندن)، فقد نشرت العديد من التحليلات والمطبوعات حول سوريا ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط. ولدت في دمشق، وتعلمت في أوروبا والولايات المتحدة، وكسب لها B.A. في الإدارة و M.A. في التسويق، مع التركيز على مسائل تحديد المواقع، والعلامات التجارية الوطنية، ووسائل الإعلام. وقد قامت بتنفيذ مشاريع للشركات متعددة الجنسيات في الشرق الأوسط وأوروبا، وتخصصت في البحوث النوعية في السلع الاستهلاكية وقطاعات الإعلام العالمية. تعمل السيدة علاف حاليا في مجلس الإدارة في اليوم التالي، the Day After وهي منظمة مجتمع مدني سورية تعمل على دعم التحول الديمقراطي في سوريا. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فهي تقدم المشورة لرئاسة الائتلاف الوطني لقوى الثورة والمعارضة السورية وتعمل كمستشار خاص لرئيس الائتلاف.

هند قبوات: محامية تقيم في دمشق وتورنتو. وتحمل B.A. في الاقتصاد من جامعة دمشق. وشهادة في القانون من الجامعة العربية في بيروت. ودرجة الماجستير في القانون والدبلوماسية من كلية فليتشر للقانون والدبلوماسية، جامعة تافتس؛ شهادة في حل النزاعات من جامعة تورونتو؛ وشهادة في القيادة الاستراتيجية من جامعة تورونتو. تعمل السيدة قبوات حاليا كمستشار دولي في جانسن وشركاه في تورونتو، بالإضافة إلى دورها كباحثة ومحاضرة ومدربة في مركز الأديان العالمية والدبلوماسية وحل النزاعات في جامعة جورج ماسون. وهي أيضا عضوة في مجلس الأجندة العالمية للتدخل في الحرب في المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي. تلقت السيدة قبوات جائزة صانعي السلام في العمل من مركز تانينباوم للتفاهم بين الأديان في نيويورك في عام 2007 وجائزة الدبلوماسية العامة من CRDC في عام 2009.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate, oversee and provide leadership for the instructional program that leads to Entrepreneurship in Food Business.

  • Be familiar with and teach the fundamentals of entrepreneurship (e.g., concept generation and development, business planning and goal setting, initial investment partnerships, networking, start-up logistics, etc.).

  • Assist and mentor students in areas including: development of business plans and related projects, problem solving, generation of workflow concepts, market planning and risk analysis.

  • Demonstrate excellence in strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Maintain and submit accurate and up-to-date management records of all beneficiaries’ and program progress.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the training manager.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous teaching/training experience (at least 2+ years) in business, entrepreneurship and/or management

  • Education and professional background in business, entrepreneurship and/or management

  • Experience working with entrepreneurs/small business owners

  • Ability to handle multiple, detail-oriented tasks simultaneously with limited supervision

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Computer skills, proficiency in MS-Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

  • Arabic and English language Fluency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial skills

  • Previous teaching/training experience

  • Experience consulting or working with entrepreneurs in the food industry

  • Fluency in Turkish is preferable

  • Experience working with refugees

Job Description:

  • To answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member, take and distribute accurate messages, greet visitors and direct them to the correct staff member, coordinate messenger and courier service, receive, sort and distribute incoming mail, monitor incoming emails and answer or forward as required, prepare outgoing mail for distribution.
  • To fax, scan and copy documents, maintain office filing and storage systems, update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists and client information, retrieve information when requested, update and maintain internal staff contact lists, co-ordinate and maintain staff administrative records such as staff parking, staff phones and company credit cards.
  • To type documents, reports and correspondence, organize travel arrangements for staff, co-ordinate and organize appointments and meetings, assist with event planning and implementation, monitor and maintain office supplies, ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced, perform work related errands as requested such as going to the post office and bank, keep office area clean and tidy.

Qualifications:

  • Education and professional background in business, entrepreneurship and/or management
  • At least two years working in an office setting
  • Ability to handle multiple, detail-oriented tasks simultaneously with limited supervision
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description:

Procurement, Stock Management and Suppliers:

To prepare database of local suppliers, undertake a market survey, set up and maintain a database of local suppliers, detailing criteria of quality, price, service, ethics etc., follow up of procurement procedures, conforming to procurement guidelines, undertake quotations or launch calls for tender and bid analysis if necessary, draft contracts and purchase goods, receive merchandise and oversee the customs procedures for imported goods, check the condition and nature of goods received as required by the contracts, review quotations, bid analysis and contracts from the field and track procurements, manage the presentation, circulation, filing and archiving of procurement documents.

Management of Stocks and Supplies:

To establish tools for stock management for entrepreneurs in the FEC site, undertake periodic inventories, manage stock movements and distributions of goods in the framework of project implementation.

Management of Vehicle:

To organise allocation and daily availability of vehicle, establish tools for vehicle follow-up: log books, technical check-ups etc., ensure the maintenance of and undertake a monthly inventory of vehicle, calculate and check the monthly cost of vehicle (fuel consumption, repairs) in coordination with the Finance Department, check the log books of vehicles from the field to ensure good use of vehicle, prepare a monthly report for fuel consumption.

Transportation management:

To identify companies for the transportation of stock, elaborate and follow a timetable of stock delivery for incubatees, supervise transportation of goods, complete and file waybills, organise and oversee loading and unloading of goods, ensure administrative and custom requirements are adhered.

Management of Communication equipment:

To organise the installation of communication equipment, train staff in the use of such equipments, ensure the maintenance and undertake a monthly inventory of communication equipment, calculate and check the monthly communication cost of each base (telephones, e-mail, Internet), in coordination with the Finance Department.

Management of Power supplies equipment:

To organise the installation of equipment: generator, security cameras, alarm systems of the FEC site. To train staff in the operation of such equipments, ensure regular maintenance and undertake a monthly inventory of equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience: experience in market price analysis and stock control  , min. 1 years professional experience in the logistic department
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in Turkish and English ,Arabic is a plus.

Other Skills:

  • Professional knowledge of negotiations with suppliers.
  • highly knowledgeable of logistic tools (purchase order, payment request, Tender/Bid, tracking sheets, quotation evaluation form,request for quotation etc)
  • Computer skills, proficiency in MS-Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Flexibility to work in fast-paced and multi-cultural work environment under pressure
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

About Project:

The project aims to enhance livelihoods by stimulating private enterprise and employment among refugees and members of

host communities in Gaziantep. Activities will increase the technical capacities of vulnerable populations and contribute to

enterprise development and job creation in the food sector. SEF’s project will be implemented in Gaziantep over the course of 24 months. The program will be anchored by the establishment of Food Enterprise Centers (FECs), and will serve as hubs for training and business development support for refugees and host community populations.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate overall planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities such as conferences, trainings, workshops, study/field visits etc. (administrative, financial, logistical as well as content-related aspects of activities).
  • Close collaboration with Project Manager to ensure that work plans, performance monitoring plans and reports are timely produced and submitted, in compliance with donor requirements,
  • Support Project Manager to establish and maintain relationships with local authorities, related actors, and community leaders, ensuring effective coordination,
  • Contribute to development of high quality concept notes and proposals, in coordination with Project Manager and SEF Executive Board,
  • Coordinate and personally participate in the preparation of project addendums/amendments.
  • Monitor expenditure and budget compliance on a regular basis,
  • Closely support the work of the local partners and assist in maintaining regular communication with team, vendors, and participants, gather results for regular reports and updates,
  • Support creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and report.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations/Development, Economic Development, or related field. Master’s degree is preferred,
  • PMP/PMD-Pro Certified (highly preferable) and demonstrated experience in Project Cycle Management at least 2 years,
  • Previous work experience in Turkey, preferably working with non-governmental institutions,
  • Experience in food or hospitality sectors is preferred (service, manufacturing, retail or related field).
  • Strong project monitoring and management skills, including budget tracking, report writing, and interaction with diverse local partners.
  • Fluent in English and Turkish or Arabic – written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, remote management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently,
  • Ability to create new relations with active players in the field,
  • High level of flexibility to adapt to new environment, handle workload, high level of problem-solving and decision-making skills,
  • Must be willing to travel for extended and multiple periods.
