Syrian Economic Forum joins "Atlas International Network"
Syrian Economic Forum joined "Atlas" network for economic researches, which connects more than 450 think tanks in more than 100 countries around the world. The Syrian Economic Forum broads to be the first think tank representing Syria in this huge network.
Atlas Economic Researches was founded in 1981 by economic researcher "Anthony Fischer" as a non-profit organization based on voluntary contributions from the faithful to its goals of economic freedom.
Atlas Network links all think tanks on the world with each other, provides training opportunities and promotes friendly competition among think tanks by announcing their awards and grants, and thus celebrating the achievements of the centers which they relate.
In the first three decades, Atlas has played an important role in the work of many market oriented policy organizations around the world, including: Manhattan Institute in New York, the National Policy Analysis Center of Texas, the Institute for Democratic Freedom of Peru, the Acton Institute of Michigan, The Libertad Institute of Argentina, the Lithuanian Free Market Institute, the Libertad de Dessarolo Institute in Chile, the Center for Civil Society of India, the Bruno Leoni Institute in Italy, the Liberal Thinking Association of Turkey and others. In a more widespread and influential index of think tanks in the world, the University of Pennsylvania's Global to think tank report in 2016 ranks Atlas among the best organizations in the world.
